Ere Research - Swiss Precision

We Are Ere

“ERE”  derived from the Latin words Tenere, Pedere, Sedere which means to ‘to grab’, ‘to move’ and ‘to sit’.

Ere Research is a group of passionate experts brought together to use their combined experinces and knowledge of the bicycle industry to create products that help to make your next bike ride YOUR BEST BIKE RIDE.

Technological but not techy, we use the best materials and production capabilities in the industry to create top quality products without bombarding our customers with "marketspeak" and technology terms meant to obfuscate and cloud reality.

Experts but not exclusive, we want to ride along and share our passion with all comers, no matter if you turned on to two wheels yesterday or rode alongside Fausto way back when.

We want you to WANT to ride your bike.

TIRES

What makes Ere Tires different?

A high TPI for all tires based upon their intended use

Curing each tire 3x longer than the other guys - resulting in a tire that is more supple, lasts longer and grips better

Treads engineered for grip, not to show wear

Everything you need in the box to get rolling again:

CLINCHERS have a tube and valve extender in the box

TUBELESS have a bottle of sealant and tubeless valve in the box

Reflective hotpatches on all tires (for that little bit of extra safety)

Ere Saddles

Ere Research saddles will be offered in two shapes: the flat-topped Genus and the curved-top Omnia.  These different shapes address differences in rotational flexibility and come in three widths [133mm, 145mm, & 157mm) and two lengths [240mm & 270mm].

Approximate weight of 125g for a 145mm x 240mm Genus w/ Carbon Rails

Comfort Trigger

The Ere Research Comfort Trigger (patent pending) is a small level located under the nose of the saddle, designed to allow the rider to vary the flex of the saddle on the fly for the following advantages:

  • The rider has the option of altering the riding experience without having to buy a new saddle
  • The Rider can adjust the comfort level while on long rides (while riding)
  • The rider can choose to adjust the comfort level when going from smooth tarmac onto uneven pavement or gravel
  • When approaching a climb, the rider can add some flex to the saddle, lowering hir/her position to generate more power output.
